Jekaterina Rostovtseva

Studied piano at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre with Prof. Peep Lassmann in 1998-2006, receiving a Master’s Degree. She has participated in the master courses of V. Berman, A. Hewitt, J. MacGregor, K. Randalu, V. Meržanov, V. Novikov, A. Valdma. Since 1998, Jekaterina Rostovtseva has worked as a piano teacher.

Jekaterina Rostovtseva was chosen as the best young piano teacher of the year 2014 by the Estonian Piano Teacher Association.

The students of Jekaterina Rostovtseva have won in various local and international competitions in Italy, France, Latvia, Serbia, USA, China, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Estonia, Russia and Israel. Her students have participated in renowned musical festivals such as Lille Piano Festival, Piano City Milano and Festival Brin d´Herbe in Orleans, France. Jekaterina Rostovtseva has also served as a member of the jury in a number of international competitions for young pianists. In 2021, Jekaterina was awarded a host of teacher’s prizes in various piano competitions in Europe.

She is currently a lector of the Institute of Interpretation Pedagogics in the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, a piano teacher at Tallinn Music High School, and the Old Town Music School in Tallinn.
