We have the honor to invite you to the first piano competition called "Piccolo Piano Talents" organized by the Association for Creative Development of Children Piccolo from Sremska Mitrovica. The association was founded in 2004 and has been gathering children who have been involved in music through various contents for more than 15 years. A large number of children got their first pianist steps through a specially designed Piccolo Piano program and showed notable results at home and competitions abroad.
The Piccolo Piano Talents competition is intended for children under the age of 15 and is designed to support children who dedicate time to learning to play the piano in this time of quick information.
The first competition in a row, in accordance with the epidemiological situation and the application of measures to protect the health of students and employees, will be realized at a distance and with the use of modern means of communication. The deadline for registration and sending of student recordings is March 20, 2021, and the results of the participants will be published by March 28, 2021. The jury will include eminent pedagogues from the country and abroad: Slađana Dedić (BiH), Danijel Oto (Hrvatska) and Dragomir Bratić (Srbija). Dragomir Bratic, Serbia started playing the piano at the age of fourteen. He graduated from the Department of Piano and received his master’s degree from the department of chamber Music (major: piano duo) at the faculty of music in Belgrade in the classes of Ninoslav Živković and Zorica Ćetković.
Slađana Dedić was born in 1978 in Tuzla where she started her education in the class of professor Planinka Atić Jurišić and graduated from high school of music (piano department) in professor Zlatan Mujkić’s class for three school years with excellent grades.
Danijel Oto started learning piano at the age of 12. He graduated at the Varaždin School of Music (where he majored in piano) under Miljenka Slunjski. At the age of 18 he enrolled at the Music Academy in Zagreb Under Vladimir Krpan, prof., where he graduated with honours in 2009.
